The Davis
cabled Vantage Pro2 is a superior weather station that provides extensive weather information from its Integrated Sensor Suite. Weather data is easily readable day or night with the included backlit LCD console.
The weather station includes the standard radiation shield and a 100' cable (max. distance is 1,000') to connect between the Integrated Sensor Suite and the display console.
A key factor that sets the Vantage Pro2 apart from many other complete weather stations is the refresh rate. A packet of data is sent from the outdoor transmitter to the console every 2 1/2 seconds. This means when you look out the window and see the wind blowing, the weather station will reflect it almost immediately. The Integrated Sensor Suite combines a rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors and anemometer into one package.
The Vantage Pro2 includes the following features.
- The built-in radiation shield provides excellent protection from solar radiation and other sources of radiated and reflected heat for accurate temperature and humidity readings.
- Rugged wind anemometer can stand up to hurricane-force winds, yet is sensitive to the lightest breeze. Records wind speeds as low as 1 mph (1 km/h) and is wind tunnel-tested to 200 mph (320 km/h).
- Installs easily and quickly with included mounting hardware kit. The Integrated Sensor Suite mounts on poles from 1.00” to 1.75” (2.54 cm to 4.45 cm) in diameter. Pole not included.
Includes the informative console display. The console can be mounted inside the trailer or motorhome where the following weather data is displayed.

Wireless connectivity means flexibility. No more drilling large holes in your trailer to accomodate wires. This wireless weather station has enough range so that you can mount it anywhere that's convenient. This model requires the use of a PC to monitor the weather readings.
The Integrated Sensor Suite combines a rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors and anemometer into one package.
The Vantage Pro2 includes the following features.
- Frequency-hopping spread spectrum radio ensures consistent transmission up to 1,000 ft. (300 m) line-of-sight from integrated sensor suite to console.

- Solar panel energizes the station during the day. Onboard super capacitor provides power at night. Lithium battery provides backup when needed.

All the same great features of the Vantage Pro2 Wireless with Console but includes the fan-aspirated radiation shield.
The
24-hour fan-aspirated radiation shield includes additional radiation shield plates and a second solar panel,
which powers the motor-driven fan for the most accurate air measurements.
Radiated and reflected heat can have a significant effect on temperature readings.
This weather station effectively mitigates the radiation effect.
A motor-driven fan draws a constant airflow through the sensor chamber at 500 feet per minute (2.5 m/s).
At night, when the effects of radiation are less, the solar-powered model runs on battery power and the
airflow slows to 280 feet per minute (1.4 m/s).

Paging Transmitter Kit $450
Add a paging transmitter kit to any weather station to get up to the minute weather and prediction data
when you are in the staging lanes. The transmitter ensures that you can receive pages up to 2 miles away
(line of sight). The durable pager has excellent reception with up to 8-line display and back light.
The kit includes a serial to USB adapter, antenna cable and mount. Add optional
permanent antenna mount for mounting an antenna to the trailer.
